Process Server's Toolbox - Servee Details- Overview

The Servee Details window allows you to enter multiple addresses for the person you are serving. You will also enter the service information on one of those tabs. This tool shows you how the Servee Detail window works. If you have any questions, please call Database Services at 407-679-1539.

Lets take an over all look at the Servee Detail window. There are 4 tabs that make up the Servee Detail window. We are going to focus on the "Party To Be Served " tab first.

The "Party Type" drop-down list tells Process Server's Toolbox what type of entity you are serving. Are they a natural person or a business?

Note: You must chose either "Natural Person" or "Business" to complete the job.

The "Prefix" & "Suffix" fields are for the additional information that usually appears before or after a company name or proper name. (For example, if you are serving the Registered Agent for Database Services, Inc., you would type "Registered Agent For" in the "Prefix" field & "Database Services, Inc." in the "Name" field. (The “Suffix” could be the AKA’s, NKA’s and DBA’s for a company or person being served.)

The buttons to the right are self-explanatory. They can be used for copying, pasting and clearing text entered in the Servee detail fields. You can also copy all text from one tab to another tab.

If you are adding a similar job and the information is not the same for the next person being served, then click “Clear All” and start fresh.

The check boxes below should be checked only if "This is the actual service information" applies to this address and it was an Individual Service.

If you Sub-Serve a paper, you need to copy and paste the address over into Tab 2 and enter the name of the person actually served and their relationship to the person they accepted service for.

NOTE: If you are serving a “Business”, you need to copy and paste the address over into Tab 2 (or enter actual address served in Tab 2). On Tab 2, enter the name of the “person” actually served, their relationship to the business, and then check “This is actual service information” at the bottom of Tab 2.
